Fruto das entranhas sagradas e salgadas da ilha de São Luís/MA, onde vive e trabalha, Carchíris (2003) cavuca práticas que emaranham arte e arquitetura, para assim refletir feixes de identidade, afeto, memória e ecologias. Ao se relacionar com as ciências da área da construção civil, seus trabalhos criam metáforas visuais que questionam nossa posição em relação às negligências ambientais, enquanto simultaneamente refletem sobre as perspectivas pessoais da artista acerca de si mesma.

 

Graduanda simultânea em Artes Visuais, Licenciatura pela UFMA (2021-2025) e em Arquitetura e Urbanismo, Bacharel pela UNDB (2021-2026), sua expressão se escreve por entre instalações, pinturas, desenhos e esculturas, projetando assim cenários tanto físicos quanto abstratos.

 

Exposição individual inclui "Deus abençoe o nosso amor - God Bless Our Love" (Lima Galeria, 2024). Seu trabalho já apareceu na exposição coletiva "Cabeças ao Sol Noturno" (Chão SLZ, 2024). Fez parte de residências artísticas como a 1ª Oficina Solar (Solar dos Abacaxis, 2023), e o 1º Lab.SUAV (Galeria Asfalto, Chão SLZ e Casa do Sereio, 2023), participou do Festival Verbo - 17ª Mostra de Performance Arte (Galeria Vermelho, Chão SLZ e Pinacoteca do Ceará, 2023), foi contemplada com o Rumos (Itaú Cultural, 2024), recebeu o Prêmio Foco (ArtRio, 2024) e o prêmio Bolsa Viagem Fora do Eixo - 14º Salão dos Artistas Sem Galeria (Mapa das Artes e Zipper Galeria, 2023) e realizou o open studio "Como caranguejos: patas em Solo com os olhos para o Sol" (Chão SLZ, 2023).

Fruit from the salty and sacred depths of São Luís Island, MA, where lives and works, Carchíris (2003) delves into practices that entangle art and architecture, thus reflecting bundles of identity, affection, memory and ecologies. Delving into the sciences of the construction industry, her works create visual metaphors that question our stance on environmental neglect, while also reflecting the artist's personal perspectives on herself.

Currently pursuing a degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Education at UFMA (2021-2025), and Architecture and Urbanism, Bachelor's degree at UNDB (2021-2026), her expression is written between installations, paintings, drawings and sculptures, thus designing both physical and abstract scenarios.

 

Her solo exhibition includes "Deus abençoe o nosso amor - God Bless Our Love" (Lima Gallery, 2024). Her work has already appeared in the group exhibition "Cabeças ao Sol Noturno" (Chão SLZ, 2024).
